Our team

Ethan Jones.

Ethan is a Senior Media Executive at Profile, supporting our Technology team with strategic media engagement and coverage.

Ethan is Senior Media Executive at Profile. He supports clients across the technology sector by delivering media coverage that strengthens credibility and visibility in complex, fast-moving markets.

Day-to-day, Ethan works across the full media lifecycle, from drafting op-eds and pitching interviews to monitoring the news agenda and identifying timely newsjacking opportunities. He is known for building strong media relationships and acting as a reliable point of contact for clients navigating the media landscape.

Ethan began his career in public relations after completing a degree in Journalism. He started in the construction sector, working with clients including Barratt and David Wilson Homes, before moving agency-side to support clients across the UK, EU and Africa.

His experience spans financial services, ESG and sustainability, and engineering, giving him a strong foundation in supporting organisations operating in highly regulated and technical industries.

Building relationships that deliver.

"The thing that excites me most about PR is the ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and journalists, and to become a trusted problem solver. I genuinely enjoy crafting relationships, so public relations always felt like a natural fit."

Turning strategy into coverage.

"My role is to support the Tech team with all things media, whether that’s drafting an op-ed, pitching a client for an interview, or spotting opportunities within the news cycle. I aim to be a reliable, go-to contact for clients when it comes to media visibility."

Why results matter.

"The most rewarding part of the role is seeing hard work translate into bylines and coverage highlights, and then sharing those wins with clients. I’ve always said that when the excitement of getting interest from a journalist disappears, it’s probably time to change careers."

Leadership through visibility.

"Visible leadership has a hugely positive impact on team morale. When leaders champion an open-door mindset, it creates trust, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose, where everyone is aligned and working toward the same goal."
