Marjorie Wallace CBE

Awarded a CBE for services to mental health, Marjorie Wallace founded charity SANE in 1986, following the publication of a series of landmark investigative articles in The Sunday Times.

Wallace is also an award-winning journalist and author. She helped break the Thalidomide scandal in the 1970s and wrote The Silent Twins, the bestselling biographical book.

Wallace started working with Profile to refresh her online profile in advance of the release of the new 2022 film of her book.

Working closely with Wallace, we updated her positioning online, launched a new website and updated her social media channels, and coordinated a media engagement campaign.

Key highlights included creating a 40-year archive of historic coverage, organising a high-profile event for charity supporters, and securing interviews in The Times, The Daily Mail, and The Telegraph.
