John Mills is an author, economist, and entrepreneur, having founded one of the UK's best-known consumer goods brands, JML.
JML pioneered television shopping in Europe, and it now retails more than 2000 products in over 50 countries.
Mills started working with Profile to highlight the importance of manufacturing and industrial investment to the UK economy.
Working closely with Mills, Profile launched a new campaigning organisation, JMI, with a cross-party Political Advisory Council.
Profile also launched dedicated social media channels for JMI, promoted its research through the media, and produced a new regular manufacturing podcast.
Key highlights include securing a new book contract, hosting a high-profile event at a manufacturing plant in Wakefield, and coordinating interviews with The New Statesman, Business Insider, and The Evening Standard.
